Overwriting updated books

You can adjust whether or not an updated DAISY digital talking book overwrites its former version when it gets transferred. Since different book titles sometimes share identical IDs, Voice of DAISY Version 4.0 now allows the user to have multiple books with the same ID.

Turn on [Updated book overwriting] to allow the deletion of old DAISY digital talking books with identical IDs. When this option is turned off, Voice of DAISY will treat books sharing the same ID as different books.

Note:
By default, all DAISY digital talking books have an individual ID.
Since many different talking books online share the same IDs, this function was added in Voice of DAISY in order to keep books sharing the same ID from being overwritten.
